The Adult Content Detox feature blocks porn across all web browsers and web views on your device – and you can lock yourself out of changing that back. one sec is all about creating a healthier relationship with your phone, and this is yet another step in this direction.
- Open one sec’s settings and select Adult Content Detox.
- Enable the toggle.
- Grant permissions to access Screen Time using FaceID.
- Optional: Lock settings for 10 days, one month, or forever.
Blocks porn sites in all web browsers and web views
one sec’s porn block feature works across all web browsers on your phone, for example Safari, Chrome, Firefox, and DuckDuckGo Browser. That’s because one sec works on system-level, adding a content filter to all Web Views instead of blocking content through a browser extension in a single browser only.
At the same time, all your data remains private and secure: one sec does not know which websites you visit and content you look at. I make money selling the pro version of one sec, not your data!
URL is blocked that shouldn’t be blocked?
Please report URLs that are falsely blocked by the feature.
Adult content that is currently not blocked?
For this feature, I rely on a list of servers provided by Apple. While they are generally quite good in covering many popular services, you might find rare cases where the blocker doesn’t kick in. Please report such cases, then I can forward this feedback to Apple, and also add additions to one sec itself.
Editing Safari Extensions and Private Browsing is Disabled by the Adult Content Blocking Feature?
This is currently an (unexpected) side-effect of this feature in one sec. I have asked Apple to provide more granular settings to control which features of Safari are restricted.
