Unfortunately, some Android manufacturers implemented very strickt background policies, so that apps like one sec cannot do their job properly.
The good thing is, for most devices there’s a workaround to allow one sec to do its job:
Depending on your your smartphone manufacturer and your Android version, additional steps might be required to ensure that one sec can work as expected. I’ve compiled a list below with the most popular phones. Please get in touch if you find a better / easier way or if your smartphone is missing from the list, or if you find that an instruction is incomplete or inconclusive.

Compatibility Issues
If your device is not in the list and one sec does not work, please check the compatibility list.
A great overview on additional phone settings is available on https://dontkillmyapp.com. If you figure something out for your phone, please let me know and I‘ll update this web page.
Edge Gestures
Some users have reported that a feature called Edge Gestures does trigger one sec in scenarios where it shouldn’t. For example, when rotating the screen. Please disable Edge Gestures for the best experience.
