Healthy alternatives are displayed within the interventions to give you additional motivation to not continue to the app you’ve just attempted to open.
To set them up, open one sec’s settings → Healthy alternatives and enable the toggle.
Which kind of alternatives work best for you is very subjective: my suggestion is to add very concrete actions that give you joy – but are much better for your (mental) health.
Available options are:
- Sport activities
- Hobbies
- Wellbeing activities
- Calling / texting selected contacts
- Favorite photo albums
- Reading list items
- Calendar entries
- Todos from Reminders
- Other healthy suggestions from Good Apps, such as:
- Structured
- Apple Books
- 7Mind
- Podcasts
- Calm
- …
- (you can also add custom apps here)
