Apple Family Sharing

Edited

Thanks for getting in touch! I’m sorry to hear that you’re experiencing issues with Apple Family Sharing for your one sec subscription. Let’s go through some steps to identify and resolve the problem.

1. Verify Your Subscription Type

Not all one sec subscriptions are eligible for Family Sharing. Only the following plans support it:

one sec pro – Annual Family Plan

one sec pro – Lifetime Family Plan

How to Check:

  1. Open iOS Settings → Tap your name at the top → Subscriptions.

  2. Locate your one sec subscription and check if the option "Share with Family" is available.

    • If this option is missing, it means your subscription type does not support Family Sharing.

    • Solution: Consider upgrading to a one sec Family Plan if you wish to share it with others.

2. Ensure Family Sharing is Set Up Correctly

Even with a family-eligible subscription, Apple requires certain conditions to be met:

Purchase Sharing is Enabled

  • Go to Settings → Tap your name → Family SharingPurchase Sharing → Ensure "Share Purchases with Family" is turned ON.

Apple IDs Must Match

  • The person who purchased the subscription must be using the same Apple ID for both Family Sharing and Media & Purchases.

  • Family members should be part of the same Apple Family Group. You can check this under SettingsFamily Sharing.

Compatible iOS Version

  • Family Sharing for in-app subscriptions is only supported on iOS 14 or later. Ensure all family members have updated their devices to the latest iOS version.

Check Subscription Visibility

  • Go to Settings → Tap your name → FamilySubscriptions. If one sec does not appear, Family Sharing may not be recognizing it.

Apple IDs Must Be from the Same Country/Region

  • All family members must have their Apple IDs registered in the same country or region.

3. Ensure You Have the Latest Version of one sec

Using an outdated version of one sec might cause Family Sharing issues. Please ensure that all family members have the latest version installed:

  1. Open the App Store on your iPhone.

  2. Tap on your profile icon in the top-right corner.

  3. Scroll down to available updates and check if one sec needs an update.

  4. If an update is available, tap Update.

Once the update is installed, restart your device and try again.

4. What If It Still Doesn’t Work?

If the issue persists, you may need to contact Apple Support as Family Sharing is managed entirely by Apple. You can reach them here:
